Blizzard Responds to Overwatch Switch 2 Performance Issues
-

Blizzard Entertainment has officially addressed performance complaints surrounding Overwatch 2 on the Nintendo Switch 2. Players quickly noticed that the game remains capped at 30 FPS—far below expectations—despite earlier promises of smoother gameplay and improved visuals.
Blizzard acknowledged that the current frame rate is lower than intended and confirmed that a patch is in development to fix the issue. Alongside performance problems, players have also reported bugs with key bindings, game modes, and cosmetics, all of which the developer says are being investigated.
While no release date for the fix has been shared, the response signals that Blizzard is actively working to improve the experience. For now, however, many players remain frustrated as the Switch 2 version hasn’t delivered the performance leap they were hoping for.
