WLFI Unlock Proposal Could Reshape Investor Liquidity
-

World Liberty Financial is preparing a major governance proposal that could finally determine when early retail investors gain access to their locked tokens.
The plan introduces a phased unlock schedule, rather than a full release, gradually bringing WLFI tokens into circulation over time. Currently, only about 24.67% of the total 100 billion supply is unlocked, leaving the majority still restricted.
This decision is critical for early buyers, many of whom have waited over a year for liquidity. The proposal will first open for community discussion before moving to a formal vote.
At its core, this is about balancing two priorities:
protecting long-term token stability vs. meeting investor expectations for access.
