OpenClaw Developers Targeted in Crypto Phishing Campaign
-

Developers behind the open-source AI project OpenClaw are being targeted by a phishing campaign on GitHub involving fake crypto rewards.
Cybersecurity firm OX Security reported that attackers created fake accounts and claimed users had won $5,000 worth of a non-existent “CLAW” token. The scam aimed to trick developers into visiting malicious sites and connecting crypto wallets.
So far, no confirmed victims have been reported, but the campaign highlights growing threats targeting developers in the crypto and AI space.
