Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is rolling out a massive free update on PS5 just as it launches on PC this March 19.

The update introduces a brutal new “To The Wilder” difficulty mode, designed for hardcore players seeking a true survival challenge. Once activated, players can’t lower the difficulty—raising the stakes for every decision.

Fans will also get new cutscenes from Hideo Kojima, plus a VR training mode to replay intense boss fights and earn exclusive gear.
