SEC Drops Case Against BitClout Founder
-

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has officially dismissed its two-year case against Nader Al-Naji, the founder of the blockchain-based social media platform BitClout.
The dismissal was filed in a New York federal court after the SEC said it reassessed the evidence and considered developments from the crypto regulatory task force established in 2025.
However, the regulator emphasized that the decision applies only to this specific case and should not be interpreted as a broader policy shift toward similar crypto enforcement actions.
