“Xbox’s Project Helix Could Cost Gamers Around $1,000”
-

A recent leak from the gaming industry suggests that Microsoft’s next-gen console, Project Helix, could come with a hefty price tag. According to Moore’s Law is Dead, the console might retail for at least $1,000, though likely staying under $1,500. While the official MSRP has not been announced, this would put the system in line with high-end alternatives like the Asus ROG Xbox Ally X handheld console.
Despite the high price, Project Helix promises significant performance improvements. The leaker claims it could deliver up to five times the rasterization power and twenty times the ray tracing performance of the Xbox Series X. With these capabilities, the console could even rival some gaming PCs, offering a hybrid experience that runs Windows, Steam, and Battle.net natively.

5x rasterization + 20x ray tracing… if this leak is legit, Helix might actually legit be bridging the console/PC gap. but marketing gonna hype it hard for sure
