AI-powered research startup DiligenceSquared has raised $5 million in seed funding led by Damir Becirovic from his venture firm Relentless Ventures. The company, which emerged from Y Combinator’s Fall 2025 cohort, aims to speed up and reduce the cost of due diligence for private equity acquisitions.

The platform combines AI-generated research with oversight from experienced consultants to produce detailed market and customer analysis. Co-founded by former Google engineer Harshil Rastogi alongside industry veterans, the startup is entering a competitive field where companies like Bridgetown Research are also trying to modernize the multi-billion-dollar due diligence market.
