Bybit Expands AI and Industry Partnerships to Combat Crypto Fraud
-

Beyond individual user protection, Bybit says it has strengthened infrastructure resilience and cross-industry intelligence sharing throughout 2025. The platform reports blocking more than 3 million credential stuffing attempts and identifying 350 high-risk investment fraud addresses through AI-powered on-chain monitoring. An additional 600 suspicious addresses were manually tagged, preventing an estimated $1 million in imminent losses.
The exchange also emphasized collaboration with blockchain intelligence firms including TRM Labs, Elliptic, and Chainalysis to track fraudulent networks. According to Bybit’s Head of Group Risk Control David Zong, the company aims to turn risk management into an “active, intelligent guardian” rather than a silent back-end tool. By sharing monitoring insights across the ecosystem, Bybit says it hopes to strengthen collective defenses in an industry where fraud remains a persistent and evolving threat.
