Morgan Stanley Doubles Down on Crypto With ETFs and Executive Hires
-

Morgan Stanley is rapidly expanding its digital asset footprint beyond custody ambitions. In January, the Wall Street giant appointed Amy Oldenburg to lead its new crypto unit, signaling high-level commitment to the sector. The bank has also posted multiple job openings for roles such as digital assets strategy director and product lead.
On the investment front, Morgan Stanley filed to launch spot exchange-traded funds tied to Bitcoin and Solana, alongside a staked ETF focused on Ethereum. With over $2 trillion in assets, the firm’s deeper move into crypto signals growing institutional confidence in regulated digital finance.
