Multiverse Eyes €500M Raise as Europe Pushes for AI Sovereignty
-

Beyond technology, Multiverse Computing is rapidly expanding its international footprint, with offices across Europe and North America and enterprise clients including Iberdrola, Bosch, and the Bank of Canada. The company is reportedly in discussions to raise €500 million at a valuation exceeding €1.5 billion — a move that could push it close to unicorn status. While Multiverse declined to confirm valuation details, it acknowledged active talks with investors.
Though its rumored €100 million ARR would still trail far behind OpenAI’s reported $20 billion and Mistral AI’s $400 million+, Multiverse is carving out a strategic niche. By promoting “sovereign AI solutions,” it taps into growing European demand for alternatives to US-based tech providers. Backed by regional government support — including Aragón’s collaboration and participation from Spain’s SETT agency — Multiverse may soon become one of Europe’s most prominent AI success stories.
