Revolut Reports Incident to Law Enforcement, Denies System Breach

Revolut confirmed that it has reported the matter to law enforcement and that authorities are investigating the alleged actions of the former employee.
According to a company spokesperson, the case involves the “unlawful and criminal actions of a third party” and does not reflect a breach of Revolut’s internal systems. The company said its security systems and data protection protocols functioned as intended, with no procedural failures identified.
Revolut stated it remains in contact with the affected customer.
The fintech firm reached a $75 billion valuation in November 2025 and surpassed 65 million global users in September 2025, making it one of Europe’s largest digital banking platforms.
