Canva Expands Marketing Ambitions After $4B Revenue Year

Canva’s latest acquisitions build on its growing focus on marketing intelligence and performance tools. In early 2025, the company acquired MagicBrief, and later introduced Canva Grow, a tool designed for asset creation and campaign performance measurement.
Speaking at Web Summit Qatar, Canva co-founder and COO Cliff Obrecht said Canva Grow has gained strong traction, particularly for static content creation and publishing to Meta platforms. The company plans to expand heavily into video creation and cross-platform deployment.
Canva closed 2025 with $4 billion in annualized revenue, over 265 million users, and 31 million paid subscribers. With the additions of Cavalry and Mango AI, the company is strengthening its ambition to evolve from a design tool into a full-scale marketing and creative operations platform.
