Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Remake Reportedly Set for April Reveal
-

Despite internal turmoil at Ubisoft — including studio closures, project cancellations, and employee strikes — the long-rumored remake of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag is reportedly still in development. According to Insider Gaming’s Mike Straw, the remake — allegedly titled Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced — is expected to be revealed in April 2026.
The project has survived a sweeping wave of cancellations that reportedly included the Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time remake and multiple unannounced Assassin’s Creed titles. While Ubisoft has yet to officially confirm the remake, rumors have been persistent for months. Insider Shinobi602 has also hinted that the reveal is coming “sooner rather than later,” adding weight to speculation that April could mark the game’s long-awaited debut.
