Loosely Coupled AI Agents Aim to Fix Marketing’s Complexity Problem
-

Kana is pitching a flexible system of “loosely coupled” AI agents that can be deployed and customized in real time. Marketers can upload a media brief, and the agents analyze campaign goals, identify target audiences, pull inventory and research data, and autonomously track and optimize performance. Unlike rigid legacy platforms, Kana says its agents can integrate into existing marketing stacks and operate across multiple workflows simultaneously.
Beyond automation, Kana also offers synthetic data generation to enhance third-party datasets used for market research and targeting. The company argues this can reduce reliance on costly external data sources while accelerating testing and strategy refinement. Importantly, humans remain in the loop — marketers can approve, adjust, or override AI decisions as campaigns evolve, maintaining control while benefiting from speed and scale.
