BlackRock Brings $2.18B Tokenized Treasury Fund to Uniswap

BlackRock is officially stepping into decentralized finance. The asset management giant is listing its USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) on Uniswap, marking its first formal move into DeFi infrastructure.

BUIDL, the largest tokenized money market fund with over $2.18 billion in assets, will initially be available to a select group of institutional investors and market makers. The move allows whitelisted participants to trade tokenized US Treasuries onchain while maintaining self-custody — a major milestone in bridging traditional finance and decentralized exchanges.
