Fitbit founders launch Luffu to simplify family health management
-

Fitbit co-founders James Park and Eric Friedman have launched a new AI startup, Luffu, designed to help families proactively monitor health. The platform begins as an app and will later expand into hardware devices, aiming to create an “intelligent family care system.”
Luffu uses AI to gather and organize health information across family members, learn daily routines, and flag notable changes so families can intervene when needed. Users can log health data via voice, text, or photos, tracking vitals, medications, lab results, doctor visits, and more.
Park said the app was inspired by his own caregiving experience, allowing families to stay informed without “hovering” or adding stress to loved ones.
