White House Meets Crypto and Banking Leaders on Stablecoin Yield Rules
-

Officials from US President Donald Trump’s administration met Monday with representatives from the cryptocurrency and banking sectors to discuss how stablecoin yield should be handled in upcoming digital asset legislation.
According to crypto advocacy group The Digital Chamber, the meeting focused on unresolved provisions in the Digital Asset Market Clarity (CLARITY) Act, which is still awaiting markup in the Senate Banking Committee. Stablecoin rewards have emerged as one of the most contentious issues slowing progress on the bill.
Digital Chamber CEO Cody Carbone described the talks as a meaningful step toward unlocking stalled negotiations, saying participants are optimistic a fair regulatory framework for digital assets can still be achieved in the US.
