Revolut targets Mexican consumers with low fees and high returns
-

Revolut’s Mexico launch focuses on addressing consumer pain points with simplified banking. Checking accounts automatically earn interest, especially on balances up to 25,000 pesos, and transfers between Revolut users are instant and free. International transfers are also offered at competitive rates.
The fintech plans to roll out premium offerings, including a Metal plan with customized cards and airport lounge access, and Revolut Kids & Teens for ages 6–17. CEO Nik Storonsky sees Mexico as a testing ground for future emerging-market expansions, building on Revolut’s profitable track record and $75 billion valuation.
