Anthropic brings plug-ins to Cowork for enterprise automation

Anthropic has expanded its agentic AI platform Cowork with a new plug-in feature designed for enterprise users. The plug-ins aim to automate specialized tasks across departments, from drafting marketing content to reviewing legal documents and responding to customer support inquiries.

The system allows users to customize workflows, decide which tools and data Claude pulls from, and expose slash commands for consistent team output. Anthropic has open sourced 11 in-house plug-ins, while emphasizing that building and editing custom plug-ins requires minimal technical expertise.
