Blockchain investigator links wallets to alleged crypto theft

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT said he identified wallets allegedly controlled by John Daghita that held tens of millions of dollars in cryptocurrency tied to US government seizures. According to his findings, one wallet contained about $23 million in crypto connected to assets seized in 2024 and 2025.

ZachXBT later reported another wallet holding 12,540 Ether, worth roughly $36 million at the time. He also said Daghita sent a small amount of ETH from one of the wallets to his public address, which ZachXBT said he would forward to a US government seizure address.
