OKX launches crypto payment card in Europe

Cryptocurrency exchange OKX is rolling out a new payment card across Europe that allows users to spend stablecoins at merchants accepting Mastercard. The OKX Card supports stablecoins including Circle’s USDC and Paxos-issued Global Dollar (USDG) at launch.

Issued through OKX’s Electronic Money Institution (EMI) partner Monavate, the card operates on Mastercard’s global network. The launch comes as crypto companies increasingly push stablecoins into everyday payments under Europe’s evolving crypto regulations.

“With OKX Card, we’re making it simple for anyone in Europe to use crypto for real-world purchases,” said OKX Europe CEO Erald Ghoos.
