Capcom has revealed how Resident Evil Requiem will take advantage of the PlayStation 5 Pro, offering players more performance options at launch. According to director Akishi Nakanishi, players can toggle ray tracing on or off, with ray tracing enabled delivering 4K at 60 FPS. Turning it off allows supported displays to push performance up to 120 FPS, averaging around 90 FPS.

Nakanishi said the team spent so much time optimizing frame rates that returning to 60 FPS afterward felt “a bit lacking,” highlighting how much emphasis Capcom placed on smooth performance for PS5 Pro players ahead of the game’s February 27 release.
