ARC Raiders January Update Brings Matchmaking and Map Tweaks

ARC Raiders is getting a major boost with the Headwinds Update on January 27. Matchmaking gets new options like Open Parties, Squad Invites, and the challenging Solo vs. Squads mode for experienced players.

The Buried City map will feature rotating bird drops, leaving valuable loot on rooftops and chimneys. This encourages players to explore new areas and increases encounters, enhancing the social and competitive aspects of the game. Players can also now use the ARC Trophy Display to turn in parts for progression rewards, including cosmetics and Raider Tokens.

Embark Studios has already shared its 2026 roadmap, with upcoming updates Shrouded Sky, Flashpoint, and Riven Tides keeping the extraction shooter fresh and engaging for months to come.
