FIFA Rivals NFTs Already Live on Mythical Market (Before Global Launch)

Hey folks,

Just noticed something interesting — FIFA Rivals’ NFTs are already up on the Mythical Market, even though the game isn’t launching globally until Thursday, June 12th.

Not exactly sure why they’re available early. A couple of theories:

They might be from the soft launch version of the game — players could’ve already minted these during early access.

Or maybe Mythical just dropped a batch of test items to check how the marketplace is running before launch day.

‍️ Either way, the marketplace is open and active, and you can buy and trade these NFTs right now. Just a heads-up though: since the game isn’t live yet, prices might be inflated. Once thousands of players join in, mint new items, and start trading, I imagine we’ll see prices settle a bit.

Right now, there are under 200 NFTs listed — mostly things like:

Balls 🏐

Kits 👕

Victory animations 🏆

And a pretty random selection of players (Aaron Ramsdale, Kobbie Mainoo, Joao Felix, to name a few)

Also, I found it pretty interesting how the in-game items work:

Some items are purely cosmetic (like certain kits).

Others offer actual gameplay bonuses. For example, balls have an “aura” stat that determines who plays as the home team. Higher aura = better odds of being picked, and winning with your ball gets you an extra bonus.

Balls are consumable too — they have a limited number of uses before they burn out.

I’ll be keeping an eye on the market over the next few days to see how things evolve after the official launch. Curious to see how pricing, rarity, and utility play out once everyone jumps in.
