Marvel Rivals tournament host BasimZB admitted he was wrong for removing content creator Kingsman265 from a showmatch during the Deadpool Creator Cup. The incident occurred on January 18, shortly after Deadpool launched in the game, when Kingsman265 asked his team, Team Cecee, to switch from Black Widow to another hero for better strategy.

BasimZB said during a Twitch stream that his decision was based on incorrect information from Team Cecee and that, in hindsight, asking for a hero switch alone wasn’t cause for removal. He called his action “hasty” and has since patched things up with Kingsman265.
