Rockstar Games may be preparing a rare early play opportunity for a terminally ill fan of Grand Theft Auto 6, months ahead of the game’s official release. The situation came to light through now-deleted LinkedIn posts from an employee at Ubisoft Toronto, who described a family member with a cancer diagnosis and a life expectancy of six to twelve months.

According to follow-up updates, contact was made with executives at Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, and the family reportedly received “great news” from the studio. While Rockstar has not publicly commented, the removal of the posts has fueled speculation that an NDA-bound playtest was successfully arranged.
