The Witcher 4 Is Shaping Up With an All-Star Development Team
-

Russell Brower is just the latest high-profile industry veteran to join CD Projekt Red as it ramps up development on The Witcher 4. In recent months, the studio has also hired designers and artists from acclaimed projects like Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3, reinforcing the sense that CDPR is assembling a top-tier creative team.
The studio has confirmed that the next Witcher saga—often referred to as a second trilogy—will follow a far more aggressive development schedule than the original games. With The Witcher 4 in active development since late 2024 and plans for The Witcher 5 and 6 within a six-year window, CDPR appears focused on scaling production without sacrificing the cinematic quality and narrative depth fans expect.
