Battlefield 6 Season 2 Pushed Back to February

Battlefield 6 Season 2 has officially been delayed. Developer Battlefield Studios confirmed that the next major season, alongside REDSEC Season 2, will now launch on February 17 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The delay is aimed at giving the team more time to refine content and address community feedback following a rocky post-launch period.

Although the wait is longer than expected, the studio emphasized that the extra development time is meant to improve overall quality. Battlefield 6 initially launched strong in October, but competition from rivals like ARC Raiders and concerns over live-service support contributed to a steep decline in active players.
