Catastrophic Boeing Crash in India
-
On June 12, 2025, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner operated by Air India crashed just 40 seconds after takeoff from Ahmedabad en route to London, slamming into a medical dormitory. 260 lives lost. Only one survivor.
Now, early reports suggest something beyond disturbing:
Both fuel cutoff switches were manually flipped to "OFF" — mid-takeoff.
What Happened?
Both fuel levers were shut down within 1 second of each other. One pilot asked, “Why did you shut off the fuel?” The other: “I didn’t touch anything.” Emergency restart was attempted but failed. Pilots sent out a Mayday. No response came after that.
🧩 So… how could this even happen?
Fuel cutoff toggles are designed to resist accidental input: Surrounded by metal guards Have locking mechanisms Require deliberate motion Regulator ruled out: Overloaded plane Bad weather Bird strike Contaminated fuel Dangerous cargo
No mechanical fault. No procedural breach. Just… silence.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. The fact that such a catastrophic failure could occur without any clear explanation is chilling. My thoughts go out to all the families affected. I hope investigators can uncover the truth and prevent anything like this from happening again

The level of redundancy and safeguards on modern aircraft makes this incident almost unthinkable. If no mechanical fault or procedural error has been found, it raises some very serious questions. Whatever the cause, it’s critical that the investigation is transparent and thorough.”
