Beyond chips, CES 2026 was packed with demonstrations of AI in action. Ford debuted its AI assistant, set to roll out in its app ahead of a 2027 in-car launch, while Caterpillar partnered with Nvidia on AI-powered construction equipment, including an excavator pilot using Nvidia’s Omniverse simulations.
Robotics was everywhere. Boston Dynamics and Google revealed deeper collaboration on Atlas humanoid robots, while LG’s home robot CLOiD made a cautious, if underwhelming, real-world debut after its flashy press conference reveal.
