BlackRock has restarted aggressive Bitcoin accumulation just as market selling pressure shows signs of easing. During the first week of January, the firm added nearly 9,619 BTC, worth about $878 million, rebuilding exposure after trimming holdings toward the end of 2025.
BlackRock now holds roughly 780,400 BTC, valued near $70 billion, down from a November peak but clearly trending upward again. The timing is notable: institutional buying is returning just as the broader market appears to be stabilizing following a 20–25% correction from recent highs.
