According to HMRC, more than 5.6 million people have yet to submit their tax returns, and freelancers say time pressure is their biggest challenge. TaxZap CEO Aaron Hickey says poor communication is a recurring problem, leaving freelancers feeling out of their depth just weeks before deadlines.
