Nvidia Says the AI Race Is Becoming a Pure Computing Battle
-

Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia, said demand for computing power is “skyrocketing” as artificial intelligence models advance at a rapid pace. Speaking during a live Nvidia event in Las Vegas, Huang described the current moment as an intense race, with companies competing to reach the next frontier of AI capability.
According to Huang, the explosive growth comes from AI models increasing in scale by an order of magnitude each year. As models grow larger and more complex, the speed at which they can be trained and deployed has become the defining advantage, turning AI progress into what Huang called fundamentally “a computing problem.”
