Firedancer Goes Live: Speed Is Easy, Reliability Is Hard

One of Solana’s strongest arguments for 2026 is infrastructure. The Firedancer validator client, developed by Jump Crypto, is now live on mainnet, promising massive throughput improvements and a fully independent codebase. In ideal conditions, Firedancer can process up to one million transactions per second.
