During the Sept. 12, 2025 Nintendo Direct, Nintendo confirmed that Metroid Prime 4: Beyond will launch on Dec. 4, 2025 for both Nintendo Switch consoles, with preorders now live.

The showcased trailer featured gameplay captured on the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game.
