Airbnb CEO: Hospitality Will Stay Human-Centered 🏡✈️

Airbnb chief Brian Chesky believes that over the next 5–10 years, hospitality, tourism, and service industries will remain people-focused — not run by chatbots or robots.

He says travelers still want human-led experiences, like wine tours in Bordeaux or trips to Lake Como, though drivers may face disruption as autonomous taxis spread. Chesky hopes Airbnb can become a place where people can develop new careers if AI displaces many jobs.

In spring 2025, Airbnb launched Airbnb Services, letting users book chefs, photographers, beauticians, and personal trainers. The company charges partners a 15% service fee per booking.
