Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says Pakistan’s rise as the third-largest freelancing nation is no coincidence, pointing to the country’s youth-driven workforce and expanding digital capabilities. He stressed that investing in results-oriented skill development is critical for sustained economic growth.

Aurangzeb highlighted the Social Impact Financing Framework, calling it a structured funding mechanism designed to support outcome-based initiatives through public-private partnerships. Special attention is being given to young women through the Pakistan Skills Impact Bond (PSIB) program.

Concluding his remarks, the minister said Pakistan’s freelance success underscores its potential as a resilient digital economy—one that can grow stronger through targeted skills training and collaborative funding models.
