XRPL Faces Real-World Challenges

Despite corporate partnerships, XRPL usage is contracting. Total Value Locked (TVL) fell nearly 50%, from $120M in July to $62M. While Ripple promotes institutional adoption, the network still trails competitors in real-world asset tokenization, ranking ninth globally with ~$213M in assets. By focusing on Japan’s banking infrastructure and startup ecosystem, Ripple aims to build a sticky, resilient ecosystem that can withstand broader crypto market volatility and position the XRPL for long-term growth.
