UNIfication Passes With 99.9% Support, Activating Protocol Fees

Uniswap’s highly anticipated “UNIfication” proposal passed with overwhelming support, receiving 99.9% approval from token holders. More than 125 million UNI voted in favor, with only a negligible number voting against.

The proposal activates protocol fees across Uniswap v2 and selected v3 pools on Ethereum, while Uniswap Labs set its interface fees to zero. Fees generated by Unichain will also contribute to UNI burns after operational costs are covered.

The vote highlighted strong alignment among major stakeholders and reinforced Uniswap’s transition toward a more sustainable, fee-driven model.
