Bitcoin’s Fundamentals Are Stronger Than Ever Despite Late-2025 Slump, Says Strategy CEO

Bitcoin’s market fundamentals remained strong throughout 2025, even as prices and sentiment weakened toward year-end, according to Strategy CEO Phong Le.

Speaking on the Coin Stories podcast, Le said he pays little attention to short-term price action, arguing that Bitcoin’s long-term outlook is what matters most to investors. While Bitcoin hit an all-time high of $125,100 in October, it later declined nearly 30%, with market sentiment falling into “Extreme Fear” territory in December.

Despite the volatility, Le said the underlying strength of the Bitcoin market “couldn’t be better” this year.
