Alexa+ Brings Conversational AI to Ring Doorbells

Amazon is rolling out a new feature called Greetings for Alexa+ that adds conversational AI to Ring doorbells. The system can manage deliveries, politely turn down salespeople, and let family or friends leave a message when you’re not home.

Using Ring’s video descriptions, Alexa identifies the main subject in front of the door and responds according to your instructions—like directing a delivery person to leave a package in a specific spot or offering water and snacks. The feature is available to Ring Premium users on supported Ring doorbells in the U.S. and Canada.
