MetaMask has officially integrated Bitcoin into its wallet, allowing users to buy, send, receive, and swap BTC directly. Previously, users could only access BTC through wrapped tokens. The move marks the latest step in MetaMask’s multichain expansion, which already includes Ethereum, Solana, Monad, and Sei, with more networks expected in 2026.
