Musk Slams EU, While X Accuses Commission of Exploiting Ad Tools

The European Commission’s first-ever DSA fine landed squarely on X — €120 million for allegedly deceptive verification and non-compliant ad transparency.
But after Musk fired off “AbolishTheEU,” X’s product head Nikita Bier accused the Commission of misusing the platform’s Ad Composer to make posts appear like videos and amplify engagement.
He said the EC broke platform rules and announced its ad account was shut down. The Commission responded that it uses all platforms “in good faith.” -
