Wizards of the Coast has opened a major new development hub in Montréal, promising 200 jobs over the next three years. The studio will focus on expanding Dungeons & Dragons and other digital games.

Industry veteran and Concordia University graduate Dan Ayoub is leading the hub. “Montréal is the natural choice,” Ayoub said, citing the city’s talent and creativity as key to building immersive experiences. The project is supported by Montréal International and Investissement Québec. The move further cements Montréal as a top-tier global hub for AAA game development, already home to more than 250 studios and 15,000 professionals.
