Pakistan Freelancers on Track to Earn $1 Billion Annually

KARACHI — Pakistan’s freelance workforce could surpass $1 billion in annual earnings if given stronger institutional support, better payment systems and wider training programs, the Pakistan Freelancers Association (PAFLA) said Thursday.
The country already ranks among the world’s top five freelancing markets with 2.3 million active freelancers contributing to digital exports and foreign exchange inflows. -
