Trump Urges Microsoft to Fire Lisa Monaco Over ‘Sensitive Information’ Concerns
-

President Donald Trump on Friday called on Microsoft to dismiss Lisa Monaco, the company’s president of global affairs, citing her past roles in Democratic administrations.
In a Truth Social post, Trump described Monaco as “a senior National Security aide under Barack Obama” and “a Lawfare and Weaponization obsessed Deputy Attorney General under Crooked Joe Biden,” adding that her current post gives her access to “Highly Sensitive Information,” which he deemed “unacceptable.”
Monaco joined Microsoft in May to oversee cybersecurity policy and government relations. Earlier this year Trump rescinded her security clearance in an order that also targeted President Biden, Vice President Harris, Hillary Clinton and other officials.
Microsoft declined to comment on Trump’s remarks. Monaco’s hiring has been criticized by far-right activist Laura Loomer, who has repeatedly attacked both Monaco and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella on social media.
