Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora Gets Story Expansion ‘From the Ashes’

Ubisoft has announced a new story expansion for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, titled From the Ashes, set to release on Dec. 19 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The expansion costs $24.99 for owners of the base game, while the From the Ashes Edition, which includes both the base game and the expansion, will be priced at $39.99.

The narrative takes place a few weeks after the upcoming Fire and Ash Avatar film, roughly six months after the events of the original game and its previous story packs. Massive Entertainment collaborated with Lightstorm Studios, creators of the new film, to ensure the expansion shares thematic DNA with the movie. The simultaneous release of the DLC and the blockbuster film allows fans to experience Pandora across both media on the same day.

Additionally, a free December update will introduce a third-person camera option and a New Game+ mode, expanding gameplay options for all players.
