Hades Joins Xbox Game Pass on Sept. 19, 2025

Supergiant Games’ acclaimed hack-and-slash roguelike, Hades, is now available on Xbox Game Pass. Members can play on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC via the Xbox app, and Xbox Cloud, covering Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard subscriptions.

Originally released in 2020, Hades lets players control Zagreus, the son of Hades, as he attempts to escape the Underworld, aided by boons from Olympian gods. The game also launched on Windows, macOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and iOS.

The sequel, Hades II, is set to leave early access for full release on September 25, 2025. Hades currently holds an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam, with 262,972 reviews and a peak of 54,240 concurrent players, according to SteamDB.
