Sony’s Sept. 16, 2025 update adds multi-device pairing and a Power Saver mode to PlayStation 5.

Multi-device pairing:

Connect up to four devices (slots tied to the triangle, circle, cross, and square buttons).

Works with Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and of course PS5.

Switch devices easily by holding the PS button + assigned action button.

Power Saver mode:

Reduces energy usage in supported games.

Titles like Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Demon’s Souls, and Ghost of Yōtei will include support soon.

How to pair:

Ensure light bar and player indicator are off.

Hold PS + action button for 5+ seconds.

Enable Bluetooth on your device and select the controller.

Light bar and indicators show the assigned slot.
