Strategy Keeps Buying Bitcoin While Restructuring Its Financial Foundation

Even as Strategy works through a significant debt repurchase and longer-term balance sheet restructuring, the company has not slowed its Bitcoin accumulation. Its most recent purchase came on Monday, when it acquired 535 Bitcoin for approximately $43 million, bringing its total holdings to 818,869 coins. At current spot market prices, that stash is valued at around $64 billion, cementing Strategy's position as the largest corporate holder of Bitcoin by a wide margin.
The continued buying comes at an interesting moment for the company financially. Strategy is simultaneously repurchasing $1.5 billion in convertible notes, planning a multi-year debt-to-equity conversion, and exploring Bitcoin sales as a potential funding tool for obligations like dividend payments. This balancing act between accumulating Bitcoin and managing a complex capital structure will be one of the more closely watched stories in crypto markets this year. With STRC hitting record trading volumes and investor interest remaining high, the market appears to be giving Strategy room to maneuver, at least for now.
